Young Eagles Selected In State Squads

The Woodville West Torrens Football Club are delighted to announce the selection of several U16s and U18s players for their respective SANFL State squads.

U16s

Isaac Edwards	Port District
Jett Hasting	Central Yorke Cougars
Kade Herbert	Bute
Tom Luck	Central Yorke Cougars
Lachlan Sands	SMOSH West Lakes
Tyler Welsh	Henley
Charlie West	Henley

These lads have been selected in a 51 man squad vying for a position in the State U16 Squad for 2022. After a selection trial during the June long weekend, the squad will be trimmed to the final 30 which will represent SA in the upcoming U16 National Championships.

U18s

Mattaes Phillipou	PHOS Camden

These young Eagles have been selected in a 40 man squad that will represent SA in the U18 National Championships in 2022. Their first game will be against the Allies on June 19.
