Welcome Leah Kaslar

The Woodville West Torrens Football Club wishes to advise it’s members, sponsors and supporters that the Club has signed Leah Kaslar for the 2022 SANFLW season.

Kaslar has played the last five seasons in the AFLW first with Brisbane then Gold Coast, playing a total of 36 matches. She held captaincy and leadership roles at both clubs across her career. Recently Kaslar relocated from Queensland to take up a role as a Development Coach at the Adelaide Football Club for their AFLW team.

“It is super exciting to have a player of Leah’s quality nominate the Eagles as her preferred club,” said coach Narelle Smith. “Leah’s will add some key pieces to raising the standard of the Eagles SANFLW program including modelling high performance behaviours and attitudes. With a relatively young squad we feel Leah is a perfect fit for our program and there is no doubt her presence will help us improve across the board.”

“I have heard great things about Woodville West Torrens Football Club and I am stoked for the opportunity to join the Club”, said Kaslar. “My aim is to share my experience with this exciting young group and contribute to building a strong culture.”
