The Woodville West Torrens Football Club has been a strong community club since its inception and is a proud SANFL club with a proven track record.
Coronavirus has had a significant impact on all aspects of the club and has caused a substantial strain on the continuing viability of the club. Whilst we recognise that everyone is doing it tough, our playing season has been postponed to May 31st 2020 and there is no certainty that the football season will commence at that time.
The delay of the football season, in conjunction with the forced closure of our licensed club (Seven 22), means that the club currently has no income and does not know when they will be able to commence trading and making money.
We are extremely grateful for the dedication of members and partners who have supported us throughout the last few months, we’ve had to make some extremely difficult decisions with respect to staff in order to survive this situation. With that in mind, we would be extremely grateful for any assistance any individual, company or organisation can provide the club.
We are a proud community club, with passionate partners, supporters and members, and we are at a critical point in terms of our ongoing viability, as well as our involvement in our community.
We are calling on anyone who can help us through this difficult time, to make a donation to ensure our club can get through this very difficult situation and come out the other side.
Your donation, no matter how big or small will go a long way to ensuring future generations can be part of this great football club.
Donations of $2 or more through the Australian Sports Foundation are tax deductible.
If we all stick together during these times, together we’ll fly again soon.
