This was a real four quarter effort building on last week’s win against Glenelg. We were very consistent across all the quarters, winning every quarter for only the second time this year.
We had many good players – no-one player dominated and we really did share the load – Pat Toole and Noah Angove were busy and creative on their wings and up forward, Seb Menta continued his great form in our forward line, Jordy Tilbrook and Bailey Arthur were again working hard in the middle of the ground, Oscar Pearce and Elex Day were very good defenders and Nathan Barkla was another who worked hard in our midfield.
Tyler Welsh was a late in to our team after playing 3 quarters in the Under 16s and did a great job with 3 goals from limited game time and he was well supported by Dec O’Dea, Hunter Carter and Izaac Niemann who all kicked 2 goals each.
We hit another bye and when we return we will look forward to the challenge of Sturt at home at 1.15pm on August 6th.
