Vili’s U18’s Match Report – Round 13

The Under 18s went down to Sturt by 34 points at Maughan Thiem KIA Oval on Saturday, in a much more spirited effort than the week before. 

We were in touch all game thanks to our contest work and gave ourselves a chance at a win after we drew with 5 points early in the last quarter, however, Sturt steadied and were too good on the day. 

Bailey Arthur, Brody Mair, Jordan Tilbrook  and Nathan Barkla did well in our midfield winning plenty of the footy and competing hard. Jonte Hunter-Price rucked well and found a bit of the footy around the ground, Pat Weckert’s three goals were hard fought and Oscar Pearce and Drew Bertelsmeier defended well.

This week we look forward to taking on Glenelg at home from 10.00am.
