The Woodville West Torrens Football Club is honoured to announce that Christine Williams, Club President, and Dr James Ilic, Club Doctor, have been recognised with SANFL Service and Merit Awards.

Dr James Ilic, our long-serving Club Doctor, has been awarded the prestigious SANFL Merit-Service Award for his invaluable services to the WWTFC since 1999. Dr Ilic consistently goes above and beyond in his duties, displaying unparalleled dedication to the health and well-being of our players. His commitment extends beyond the ordinary, often making himself available at all hours to provide immediate care or check on the progress of an injured player, even when away with the Matilda’s or Adelaide United.

Christine Williams, our Club President, has been honoured with the SANFL Service Award. With 16 years of dedicated service as a board member, including roles as finance director and President, Christine’s commitment to the Club is unmatched. Her leadership during challenging times, especially throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, has guided the club forward and placed us in a solid financial position. Christine’s unwavering support and contributions continue to be immeasurable.

These awards are a testament to the outstanding dedication and contributions of Dr James Ilic and Christine Williams to the Woodville West Torrens Football Club.
