Round 8 saw us take on North Adelaide again on home. After playing them only two weeks previously we knew it was going to be a tough task ahead.

Our first quarter again saw us win plenty of the ball early. Amie Blanden used her speed up forward and earned herself a shot on goal for the first of the match but was unable to convert.
The second and third quarters saw North Adelaide take control of the match. Steph Walker worked hard through the middle of the ground and Jo Baltais showed some spark in the ruck, running down the Roosters captain Nadia von Bertouch spectacularly in the second.

Kelly Barltrop and Emma Sampson proved very strong up forward for the Roosters, getting plenty of the ball with Barltrop kicking five majors. GWS listed Perry was also influential for the Roosters adding two to their tally although Eagles Tessa Grant and Colbie Frankland worked hard to keep her in check.

The final quarter saw Co-Captain Tash Farrier finally slot our first major for the match. The game played out as somewhat of an arm wrestle for the last quarter, but the damage had been done by the Roosters early, running out 60-point winners.

Next week we take on the Bloods at City Mazda in Round 9.
