We again for the second time this season made our way out north to X-Convenience stadium to play the home side.
We controlled the match for a half with the best ball movement we have achieved all year but fell down with being unable to capitalise on our dominance on the scoreboard.
It was a steady decline and in the third quarter after starting okay Centrals began to dominate us around the ball and then eventually on the scoreboard. Although disappointing there were some flashes of what this group is capable of and with more consistency and scoreboard pressure we will trouble some sides in the last 5 rounds.
We now head home to Oval avenue for our first real home game – the deck is looking amazing and with the new lights in play, we have a 6.50pm game under lights and come up against the top of the table; North.
The Development League has now wrapped up and it has been an incredible layer to SANFLW competition and uncovered some young guns that have a bright future ahead.
We will keep showing up and building more minutes of quality football – this group is on a rebuild journey and despite the numbers are heading in the right direction.
