Round 5 Women’s Development Match Report

We headed to X Convenience Oval to take on North Adelaide who have been in great form this season. Kicking into the breeze in the first we knew it was going to be tough and the ball did spend the majority of the quarter inside our defensive 50 with our backs put under heavy pressure. We were able to wrestle the momentum back in the second quarter before North kicked away again.

Megan Andresen and Lili Gambranis led from the front and battled hard throughout the entirety of the game. Nikita McRostie was a great target up forward competing all day, and Brittany Spooner was again fantastic in the middle of the ground. It was great to have Stephanie Walker back for her first game of the season and looked really classy with the ball in hand.
