Along with our Local Member for Cheltenham, Joe Szakacs; WWTFC headed to Foodbank SA Woodville to help unpack their groceries in the lead up to Christmas.
One in six adults have not eaten enough this past year; with 1.2 million children going hungry. Foodbank plays an important part in fighting hunger Australia wide. Our local Foodbank at Woodville, has made an incredible impact to our local community, with more than 520,000 meals distributed to those in need in the 2020/2021 financial year alone.
You can help Foodbank by donating pantry items, along with hygiene items (toothpaste, nappies, toothbrushes, sanitary items); or by making a cash donation; which goes to buying fresh produce.
Donations are accepted at any Foodbank; click here to find a location closest to you.
