Woodville-West Torrens is set to be propelled by a cluster of former Redlegs, including coach Tess Baxter, as it makes its Statewide Super Women’s League debut in 2019.
Previously an assistant coach with inaugural premier Norwood, Baxter has brought across three key recruits from The Parade to Oval Avenue.
Adele Gibson, Georgia Taylor and Aajiah Jericho will all don the Eagles tri-colours as the club gears up for its opening encounter against Glenelg on Friday February 15.
The Eagles have also signed former AFLW player Stephanie Walker, who lined up with Greater Western Sydney in 2017.
Ex-West Adelaide teenager Jaimi Tabb, who is a member of the AFLW Academy, is another exciting player to watch next year.
But perhaps the surprise packet will be nippy midfielder Tash Farrier, who has previously represented Australia in Ice Hockey from 2005 to 2013.
The 28-year-old – who also played College Ice Hockey in Canada – has lined up for North Haven and Port Adelaide in the SAWFL and is ready to mix it at SANFL level.
