SANFLW Coaching Update

The Woodville West Torrens Football Club wishes to advise its members, sponsors and supporters that it was announced at SANFLW Club Champion on Friday evening, that Tess Baxter will not be continuing on as our SANFLW Head Coach in 2022.

After some discussions held between the football department and Tess at the conclusion of the season it was decided that after three years in the role, it was in the best interest for the group to have a fresh start under a new senior coach in 2022.

On the decision Luke Powell said, “Tess has played a vital role in getting our Women’s program up and running; something that wouldn’t have been possible without her. We are extremely thankful for all Tess has done for WWTFC, and wish her all the best in her future endeavours.”

On her departure Tess said, “I would like to thank the WWTFC club and community for their great support over the past three years. I feel privileged to have been part of the clubs journey and I have no doubt WWTFC will continue to invest heavily in its women’s programs.  The future at WWTFC is bright and success is not far away.”
