Round 8 saw us back at home against an in form Norwood who were 3rd on the ladder.

The first quarter saw the ball consistently bounce from end to end with both sides having opportunities and Norwood making the most of theirs going 2 goals up into quarter time.

The second and third quarter saw our midfield start to get on top, allowing some forward territory and good inside 50 to kick 8 goals to 1 in the 2nd and 3rd quarter.

The last quarter trended much the same way with our first hand on the footy, throughout the midfield giving our forward first option kicking 3 goals six to 1,1 in the last quarter. The last quarter saw the boys apply some great forward pressure to keep the ball in our half of the ground, winning the game.

Better players on the day were James Tsitas with his great work up and down the ground, Angus Poole kicking 3 goals and being able to compete well in our forward 50, Clay Cameron and Luke Thompson down back and Matthew Goldsworthy on a wing and across half back giving us plenty of drive. Joey Sinor also had a great game laying 10 tackles.

Our next game we travel to Elizabeth in what will be the half way mark of the season. Looking forward to seeing all our supporters at X Convenience Oval.
