Romeo’s Foodland U16 Round 5 Match Report

In warm conditions on Good Friday, Sturt jumped us at the start and to create a 27 point lead at quarter time. To the players credit, they fought their way back into the contest and only trailed by 2 goals at half time.

The third & fourth quarters were a repeat of the first with Sturt dominating the second half, kicking 8 goals whilst we were inaccurate in front of goals ,kicking 1 goal 7 points. With Sturt going on to win by 56 points.

Izaac Niemann & Colby Ackland kicked 2 goals each with Jayden Haley chipping in with one.

Riley Davey, Jedd Thomson & Brodie Mair battled hard all day whilst Izaac Nieman, Trent Morgan & Pat Toole had their moments.

This week we look forward to taking on Glenelg, in which will be the only home game for the U16 Season.
