Coming up against the bottom side in North Adelaide we knew a victory would give our side a chance to finish top 3.

The first quarter started off strongly with some real good energy around the contest but it was the lack of cleanliness to finish off our handball skill which kept us from taking a larger than the 18 point lead we had.

After that moment at quarter time I couldn’t be prouder of the team. We went in with a plan and 3 focus points which I thought we well and truly achieved. We were able to pick our moments when to take the game on and the pressure on the ball carrier was as good as it has been all year.

We end up finishing the minor round in 3rd position giving the team a huge opportunity over the next month of finals footy. We hope to see as many Eagles faithful as possible at Unley Oval Saturday to support the boys.
